Service policy
KAGOSHIMA GAIGO GAKUIN SGG (referred to as "GAiGO") offers tours of Kagoshima City with volunteer guides, including students from THE GAIGO SCHOOL, the Kagoshima Governor-authorized college of foreign languages.
While our guides undergo training, please note that they are volunteers. Therefore, understand that their knowledge, skills, and English proficiency as guides may not be as extensive as those of professional guides.
Tours are limited to 3 people per guide, with a maximum of 6 people in total. All expenses for the guides are to be paid by the participants. Additionally, for training purposes, apprentice guides may accompany your group based on its size. In such cases, you will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the apprentice guides.
Furthermore, when our organization conducts tours as part of a guide training program, we may accommodate up to 10 people under special circumstances. Please inquire for further details.

As our organization operates independently without receiving grants, we levy the service fees outlined in the COURSES to sustain our operations. Upon receipt of an invoice, please transfer the funds to the designated account by the specified deadline. We recommend using an online payment service Wise, which incurs lower transfer fees compared to traditional bank transfers.
Reservation
The reservation of the tour shall be made from two months prior to the desired tour date until two weeks before. The reservation is confirmed by paying the tour fee to the specified account within one week of confirmation.
Means of transportation
For the safety of both clients and our guides, we exclusively utilize public transportation, such as buses, trams, and ferries.
Use of pictures
Please agree in advance that we will utilize the pictures taken by our guides during the tour on our social media or website.
Health condition
To ensure the health and safety of our guides, please ensure that you do not have any cold symptoms on the day of the tour.

-
100% of the fee, excluding bank transfer fees, will be refunded if you cancel or make any changes 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
-
50% of the fee, excluding bank transfer fees, will be refunded if you cancel or make any changes 7 to 13 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
